Refunds and Deferment

Refunds

TSC has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your financial aid refund. BankMobile is a financial services company focused solely on higher education.

Ensure your address and phone number match your primary address and primary phone number in Workday before setting up your account.

While BankMobile does offer a bank account, you do not have to use their account. You can continue to use your current bank account by designating your refund preference on your BankMobile account.

*If your preference is not defined before funds disburse, then your refund will be delayed *

Deferments

A student fee deferment prevents cancellation of classes for non-payment of fees and is available for all terms. Tuition, fees and books can be deferred up to the amount of your financial aid award. All fees deferred against your financial aid are taken from the first financial aid funds to disburse.

How to Qualify for Student Fee Deferment

  • You must be awarded financial aid and enrollment status cannot change from the date financial aid was awarded
  • You must be awarded financial aid and the Financial Aid Office must not receive a new Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) or Student Aid Report (SAR) cancelling your eligibility
  • Students with Federal Direct Loans must complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling requirements for their loans to be used to defer tuition and fees.
  • Summer term students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours)
