Eugene Lamb Elected Chair of TCC District Board of Trustees

The Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees elected Eugene Lamb, Jr. as chair at their August meeting this week. Lamb has served on the Board since 2007 when he was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist and has since been re-appointed to five consecutive terms by Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. He has also been elected to three previous terms as chair of the Board at TCC. The Army veteran and former teacher represents Gadsden County. Read More

TCC Receives $1.6 Million from Governor’s Job Growth Grant Fund

Governor Ron DeSantis has awarded almost $1.6 million to TCC through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to increase and enhance workforce education opportunities in the healthcare industry. TCC will use the funds to double the enrollment in dental hygiene, dental assisting, and surgical technology programs. Read More

Tallahassee Community College Honors Businesses at Third Annual Blue and Gold Society Luncheon

Tallahassee Community College (TCC) honored eight businesses who provided support to the advancement of continued excellence of the College, at the third annual Blue and Gold Society Luncheon and Award Ceremony on Thursday, May 26. Theatre TCC! Receives Highest Honors From FCSAA

Theatre TCC!’s 2021-2022 productions of Eurydice and Something Rotten! earned “Superior” ratings from the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA). Superior is the highest rating the FCSAA awards, only reserved for theatrical productions that lie between the 96 to 100 percent mark on the state community college level. This is the first time in the College’s history that two productions received “Superior” ratings within the same season. Read More
