Bank of America gives $250,000 grant to TCC for Med Lab Tech Program

Tallahassee Community College announced a $250,000 grant from Bank of America today. The grant funds will be used create a Medical Lab Tech Program at TCC’s Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education. “This grant will allow us to support a cohort of 20 students from their first day of college to their completion of the program,” said Dr. Calandra Stringer, Provost and VP for Academic Affairs at Tallahassee Community College. TCC Foundation announces $200,000 gift earmarked for Workforce Development efforts

The Tallahassee Community College Foundation announced a $200,000 gift to benefit its workforce development programs. The donor has chosen to remain anonymous. The announcement was made at the Tallahassee Community College District Board of Directors Meeting on Monday, Nov. 16, 2021. The gift will be used to fund ten welding booths in the new Welding Lab opening in January and Wakulla Workforce Scholarships, 35 full-tuition scholarships in the trades for residents of Wakulla County. TCC unveiled seven renovated classrooms as a part of The First Class Project

Tallahassee Community College and the TCC Foundation unveiled seven newly renovated classrooms on Thursday evening, Nov.4. The classroom renovations are a part of The First Class Project. TCC earmarks $5.9 million in HEERF funds for student debt relief

Tallahassee Community College announced today that any student who attended TCC during the pandemic, from March 2020 to present, may be eligible for debt payment by the College.
