Tallahassee Community College is holding its inaugural fall commencement ceremony in-person for graduates on Saturday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, 505 West Pensacola St, Tallassee, FL 32301.
Students, faculty, staff and the community have experienced some of the most disruptive years of their lives. Now, it is time to celebrate the graduates for completing their academic career at TCC.
“We are so excited to host our inaugural Fall Commencement Ceremony on December 11,” said Dr. Sheri Rowland, Vice President of Student Affairs. “Due to the pandemic it has been two years since the College could host an in-person commencement ceremony. Having a fall ceremony will allow the opportunity for our new summer and fall 2021 graduates to participate in a live ceremony closer to their graduation date and allow us to invite back those graduates from the prior two years who would like to walk across the stage and celebrate with their families and friends.”
TCC is also inviting 2019-20 and 2020-21 past graduates and their families to participate in the in-person ceremony if they choose too. These graduates were limited to virtual ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Interested past graduates, can register at tcc.fl.edu/commencement.
Additionally, the fall graduation webpage includes the commencement booklet, a photo wall of the graduates and a message board where people can leave congratulatory messages for the graduates.
The inaugural graduation ceremony will also be live streamed on the College’s YouTube page at YouTube.com/yourtcc22.
